The Allison Four was the first moderately sized Allison Loudspeaker, introduced originally in 1976. A two way system, each Allison Four has a single woofer and two tweeters. In uniformity of bass power delivered to a real listening room, the only peers of the Allison Four are the full-sized Allison One and Allison Three Loudspeakers. The omnidirectional dispersion in the forward hemisphere does not aim in any one direction, increasing its placement flexibility. The Allison Four system should be used with its back close to a room wall and with the woofer (mounted in the top panel) radiating upward into at least 10 inches of unobstructed space. The Allison Four is designed to be placed on a table or bookshelf. A minimum of 30 watts per channel is required to produce 100 dB sound pressure level in most domestic room environments. Outside dimensions: 11 inches high by 19-3/8 inches wide by 10 inches front to back. The Allison Four features fine furniture cherry cabinetry. Crossover Frequency: 2000 Hz |
